I have spoken to them several times since they got the phone and they both want to use it.so the soulution is to replace their cordless with the GE cordless model also. The phone was easy to set-up.my older parents had no problem. I would highly recommend this product.
I have some hearing loss and the volume assist really helps. Replaced it because it does the trick for me. A good buy.arrived is just a few days. This phone is great. I purchased one last year and my grandson baptized it with soda. I did not have any trouble with the reciever as some folks indicated.
I cannot recommend this phone as advertised. Well, not this time. We certainly thought that by buying a higher quality phone with features specifically for the hearing impaired, that we would have been happy with the results. It lasted a couple days and was returned as unacceptable. I got this phone for my mother , who can't hear well without her hearing aids. We've tried numerous phones purported to be for hearing impaired people, and have yet to find one that delivers the goods. This one might have worked but the supposed "Extra Loud" ringer wasn't loud enough for my mom to her the phone ring.
OUTSTANDING PRODUCT FOR THOSE PEOPLE WITH SOME FORM OF HEARING LOSS.MY WIFE WASN'T ABLE TO TALK ON THE PHONE BEFORE I PURCHASED THIS PHONE BUT NOW SHE CAN. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PHONE.
Some were too complicated, some weren't loud enough, one would go dead after a few minutes of her conversing, one didn't register the number one after a few months of dialing. She calls me triumphantly to tell me she has resisted the impulse, and says she finds nothing wrong with her new phone. have tried seven different phones over the past four years for my mother who is now ninety. She has a lot of telemarketers call her but I also got her a big illuminated caller ID so now she doesn't pick up if she doesn't know the caller.
